The dome of Sant'Andrea della Valle is a recurring image in this show. It has a special place in my heart as the origin of the life I have built in Rome. It is my north star in this city. When I see it, I am reminded of all I have learned about this place and myself. By painting it repeatedly over the years, I can see how I am growing as an artist but also how I see it differently as a person and my relationship with the city.
