In the early moments of staging, nerves have not yet set in. The atmosphere is joyful and free from focus. Conversations between racers reliving the last race and its highlights fill the air before the engines are kicked on and begin telling their version of the story.

Line Up is part of Andrew's Hot Shoe Chronicles collection created after a year studying flat track vintage motorcycle racing. Riders featured in this painting include, Jimmy White, Jeff Moon, Go Takamine, and Dimitri Coste.
