Fontana di San Simeone

This piazza was sleepy in the early morning when it was painted. But by day, it was surrounded by people filling water bottles from the potable water springing from this fountain. It is one of many in Rome with drinkable water. It is available to everyone. I find this to be such a meaningful and human gesture that has continued for almost 2000 years.
